Ah, the boredom.

The fairies garden is the only place I don't feel the boredom.  I'm either pulling grass and weeds, making something new for it, or researching how to make plants happier.  I have a black thumb, but I'm determined.

I never thought I'd feel so connected to the outdoors again.  We went fishing the other day (yes, I know we should stay home).  I needed the outdoors and peace.  It was so quiet, and the air was so fresh.

Staying away from people isn't a problem for me.  I love the solitude and being surrounded by my family.  My daughter is home from boarding school for good until either Summer school or next semester.  Sadly, my son and husband still have to work.  I'm glad for the income, because so many are without and that'd add stress to an already thin balance.  However, with my suppressed immune system self, it's kind of scary.

I have made my protections.  I often do little things to make the home feel safe.  I ground a lot more lately.  My allergies are worse this year than they have been in a long time.  But I'll take that over the other things out there any day.

All of the new craziness has also taken moving sooner rather than later off the table.  No one is buying homes right now....and, I doubt a bank would give a home loan with so much uncertainty.  I know all things will happen as it should.  If we do not get the home we were falling for in Minnesota now, it's because there's something better coming, and we will find it at the perfect time for us.

Until then,  we are safe.  We have income.  We have a home and means to get food.  We have each other.
I have my Craft as well as my crafts.  I have my peaceful country setting.  I have my music and my pets.

Blessed Be.
